Attended the Tanya Tucker concert last night. It was awesome! This was my first time coming to a concert here. I will definitely be attending more of their concerts! Best part was that I left my singed poster behind but they found it and I was able to pick it up today! How awesome is that? Great place! Thanks District!!

Love this Venue! As a DJ and entertainer, atmosphere that a venue creates is so crucial. I have had the opportunity to be part of several events here as party of DJ SieffStyle Entertainment, from weddings to NYE parties. I enjoy the professional staff and working with them. They keep things moving along in the foreground and behind the scenes. You won't go wrong choosing this place as your venue.

Great venue and have not seen a show there before. Traveled up from Sioux City and was well worth it. $5 for a 12 ounce can of beer is a bit much. Stayed in the Fairfiled right across the lot and filled up on Texas Roadhouse as well. Sound was good and probably the cleanest bathrooms I have ever seen in a venue like this. We will be back.

We had our wedding here September 2019. Highly recommend for couples looking for a modern twist to their special day! If you can dream it you can do it with the district ( for a price, but worth it!). We did ceremony and reception here and our guest loved it. The staff was amazing worked quickly to switch the venue (tear down chairs and set up tables) in less than 30 min. Servers and bartenders were also pleasant. Only "negative" thing to say is there was an issue with our dinners (supposed to be beef and mashed potatoes and chicken with rice and we were served rice with beef.. not a major deal. Slightly disappointing, but once brought to their attention it was corrected for the majority of our guests). Communicating could be better, back and forth emails does get confusing for both the wedding planners and hosts, but worth it because they ensured every detail of the day had been considered!

We recently had our wedding reception at The District and it was perfect! Shawn really went above and beyond for us to help make our reception special. He was always very responsive for any questions we had, and was never too busy to meet with us in person. Everyone there made sure that our reception went by extremely well, and there were no hiccups. We got so many compliments on our venue from guests and we couldn't recommend The District more for your reception!

If you haven't been to The District for a concert or event then you are missing out. First of all, the venue has one of the best layouts you will find for a standing concert. The upstairs and the downstairs are both unique places to watch a performance. Many events and concerts offer the option to get a VIP pass. Do not pass up this opportunity as it allows you to get in early, get drinks, pick your spot, and catch up with friends all before the general admission group comes in. Second, these concerts are priced right! I try to go to as many as possible because they are affordable and fun. Finally, the staff all over this building are amazing. From the venue manager to the bartenders and all the people you don't see like Molten Audio and Pepper Entertainment staff who help bring in the acts (Pepper), provide lighting (Molten), and audio (Molten). Please visit this venue often. Be understanding that large crowds can be difficult sometimes and just enjoy yourself, you will love this place.

My best friend got married here. Was a great venue and reception hall. Very beautiful. It would have been great to be able to get in earlier to decorate but otherwise it was great!

Great smoked meats. Great atmosphere. Love the food and service is super!

We've had multiple corporate events at the district and had food catered by Roam (attached restaurant), it's always been a great meeting place with outstanding for for large groups 100-700 employees.

Great venue! I have been here for everything from fundraising events to New Year's celebrations. Staff is wonderful and would highly recommend this place.

We love performing at the district! It is the premier Show club in Sioux Falls and can handle 1500 spectators for concert events. this is also an excellent private event venue for things like weddings and corporate events. The manager there is very easy to work with. His name is Shawn. I highly recommend looking at this venue if you are planning an event or if you are a touring artist looking for an easy stop in Sioux Falls. easy load-in and stage accommodations include a 32-ft wide stage with plenty of clean power. There is a full service bar on the lower level and also the upper deck for spectators. Conveniently located in the empire Mall parking lot right off of 49th Street.

Love this place! Good food and friendly service with the bourbon of your choice!!

Perfect dinner on the patio

We had our wedding reception as The District and it was BEAUTIFUL! Everything turned out great and they did a great job of setting everything up.

Beautiful venue where I've attended multiple weddings. As a guest the experience was pleasant. Food was just ok and drinks were expensive but the venue itself has good service and is absolutely stunning.

Great venue. Awesome place to see a show/concert. The main floor is all open with a nice long bar. Upstairs has vip spaces with stools for seating.

We had our wedding at the District in August and it was the best experience I could have asked for. Shawn and Dave (Manager and Owner) were so amazing throughout the whole process. They are very easy to work with and relaxed. They were always there to answer my phone call and help with whatever they could. They went above and beyond to make our day perfect. Their pricing is very affordable and fair. I could not have picked a better venue for our wedding. The venue has space for big and small wedding sizes and gives you the option of using the balcony and stage, making the look so beautiful. The atmosphere is perfect with the dimension (balcony and stage) and 2 bars available to use. The food was amazing and the District's staff was wonderful to work with. They even had the option to add a late night meal (we chose pizza) for the guests. My guests loved that there were bathrooms upstairs as well as downstairs and that there was an elevator to use to get to the balcony. We did not have any issues and our big day was perfect. We would HIGHLY recommend the District for your wedding venue choice.

Such an amazing place to have a wedding reception! The staff made everything flow smoothly and made our day worry free. I would highly recommended The District. I worked with Shawn and Dave to plan a country western themed corporate holiday party this January for around 130 people, and they rocked it! They booked a majority of the entertainment for me, which took a huge load off my plate during our busiest time of the year. The food was amazing, the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and everyone is still talking about how much fun they had. The District is the perfect venue for all events. New Roam Kitchen & Bar attached to the District. First impression was great. Really great food and a very inviting owner. Will be coming back to explore all the options on the menu.

Love this venue cuz you can get right up to the stage. Lower level is standing room only with balcony section available for a higher price with tables and chairs up there. General admission prices are always very affordable for all the bands I've gone there to see. Bar staff is always nice and fast with drink orders. There's also a coat check station and smoking area outside. If you leave however they won't let you back in. Overall great place to see a show.

We had our wedding at the District in October, we wanted to do the ceremony on their outdoor patio with reception inside. With the unpredictable SD weather they were super flexible giving us until last minute to make a final decision, luckily the weather worked out and we had the ceremony outside on the patio. From the very first email they were always very responsive, helpful and accommodating. The venue itself is amazing, so many of our guests commented on how impressed they were with the venue. Even people I talked to days later brought up how impressed they were with it. I have been to many weddings and never even had a thought on the venue itself, it was always just "a room" in a hotel or something similar.. this was a very different atmosphere that made the day feel that much more special. The cost seemed comparable to other venues, i am sure there are cheaper ones out there but for what you get i do not think there is a better value out there. I could not come up with a single complaint or even a suggestion that could have been better.. Pick this place for your wedding you will not be disappointed!!

Great Venue! The bartenders are the best I've ever had at a concert.

My husband and I just had our wedding reception here in June. It was the absolute perfect place for our wedding reception! Dave and Shawn were awesome, and always listen to anything that we needed to accommodate us for our big day!!! The food and venue that The District Provided were great!! We also had late night pizza for our guests from The District's chef and us and our guest really enjoyed it!!! The Venue was absolutely gorgeous and we had a lot of compliments from our guests!!! We had our cocktail hour on the upper level and the dinner and dance on the lower level, it was the perfect set up! This was the perfect place for our wedding reception and we were once again very pleased with the communication and responsiveness from Dave and Shawn at The District!! They were also very organized and had great ideas! Have your wedding reception here and you will not be disappointed!!!! The District has a lot to offer and more!
